It's quiet here. If it gets too boring, you could always go [[out|OOC Chatroom]].A comfy sort of place, with many chairs, couches, and cushions for lounging. Things tend to materialize out of thin air as needed. All conversations are out of character; if you wish to roleplay, please head elsewhere. The Message Board sports The Rules as message 1. If it all seems too much for you, you can always go [[hide|Hidden Room]]. If you want to roleplay, head to the [[spaceport|Spaceport 1]] or the [[meadow|Sunlit Meadow]].

[[read 1|The Rules]]
((presently everyone can read/write/erase message board messages))A vast spaceport, sometimes bustling, sometimes empty, depending on the time cycle. White plastic walls curve around into a domed ceiling, and the floor is smooth, shiny metal. The soft whirr of the environmental control system fills the air, and the whole place smells distinctly clean with a slight metallic tinge. Vast round windows show the beauty of space beyond, swirling galaxies and cloudy nebulas sprinkled liberally with stars and the occasional planet as the spaceport drifts through the void. A small cafe is to the [[left|Spaceport Cafe]], with egg-shaped chairs and chrome tables. A quiet space is to the [[right|Quiet Space]], with a sound-dampening bubble arching over it and many cushions and soft things inside. [[Ahead|Space]] is the airlock, framed by racks of spacesuits for those who need them. [[Back|OOC Chatroom]] the way you came is an arched doorway with a sign above it currently showing garbled static and barely-distinguishable numbers and letters. A [[ramp|Nightclub]] leads up to the nightclub, which features a light-up dance floor and lots of glowy things. An elevator bay off to one side takes you [[up|Holodeck]] to the Holodeck. Going down would take you to the port's engine room. Of course, you could always stay right here.RULES OF CYPORT

3. No harassment under any circumstances. No means no.
4. Please take potentially upsetting scenes such as gore, bathroom fluids, snuff and so on to a private room.
5. If you wish to invite someone new, speak to a Wizard (Rox, Farore, or Ikani) and we will decide if they were a suitable fit.
6. Dig your own rooms as you see fit.
7. All of Cyport is considered to be 18+. If you wish a room to be G-rated only or such, please mark it clearly.
8. Have fun!
[[back|OOC Chatroom]]A quaint cafe with big white egg-shaped chairs and shiny chrome tabletops. The floor is checkered in shiny silver-and-white tiles, and the service area complete with display case are all brushed metal. The display case is gleaming and clean, revealing all sorts of tasty treats and snacks inside, including a wide variety of bottles and cans for drinking. The ServBot, Daisy, is happy to provide you with an array of freshly-prepared hot and cold beverages, as well, and will take your credits with an electronic smile and a bit of friendly chatter. The whole place seems a bit of a respite from the bustling spaceport, while still being close enough to the action for some great people- or alien-watching. When you've had your fill of space-coffee and space-muffins, you can head [[out|Spaceport 1]].
((unsure if daisy is supposed to have a command here))A cacophony of fat pillows, oversized cushions, cozy blankets, and stuffed animals are tossed lightly about on every surface - which in this case mostly consists of squashy couches and a few giant bean bag chairs. A cage of sorts hangings from the ceiling of the sound-dampening bubble, sort of a swing with pillows on it, for those who like being up high or prefer some firmer confinement from the flexible, fabric-covered bars of the bottemless birdcage. Curiously, it seems to resize itself to give just the right amount of squeeze to any who enter it. Gentle music and nature sounds play from speakers hidden in one of the couches, but a whisper of 'silence please' will shut them off - likewise, whispering 'sound please' will bring them back. Some of the pillows must have incense or perfume inside them, for the whole room is a lovely combination of lilac, sandalwood, rose, and a hint of cedar. All in all, a highly relaxing place. If you are ready to face the outside world again, you can go [[out|Spaceport 1]].
((whisper commands don't work?))A vast, surrounding vista of stars, planets, galaxies, swirling nebula, flashing pulsars, burning suns, flowing star winds, constellations, moons, satellites, and other strange objects. It's completely breathtaking - especially if you forgot to put on a spacesuit and you're the sort of being who needs something like that. In the distance floats what seems to be a toy spaceship. Do you drift among the heavens, dance along the stardust? Do you head for the [[spaceship|Nodeship7771]]? Or do you get cold and decide you would like that oxygen tank after all, and head [[in|Spaceport 1]]?The nightclub is currently dark, though a few glowy things still shine in the shadows. Not open for business yet, it seems. Why don't you head [[down|Spaceport 1]]?Somewhere between a four-walled, floored-and-ceilinged disco dancefloor, and a martial arts tatami training room. The panels of the floors and walls light up when you touch them (and the ceiling ones, too, if you can reach that high). A person-sized chute is in one corner, leading down to the [[lab|Spaceport Lab]]. A small box of controls is next to the door. Here you can program the Holodeck to be anything you want, create any kind of scene, and make it seem infinite. A lovely place for a jungle excursion, a stroll through a big city, a swim through a nebula, or a dream of otherworldy horrors and gods, all waiting to be your friend - or not - or anything else you can come up with. If you're done, you can head to the [[chute|Spaceport Lab]], or go [[down|Spaceport 1]].
((unsure of commands here, if any))The lights are off, the lab is closed. You could head [[back|Engine Room]] to the engine room or [[up|Holodeck]] to the Holodeck.Lots of blinking lights, loud noises, and the occasional warning siren when things get rough. You can access the [[lab|Spaceport Lab]] from here, or head [[up|Spaceport 1]].Nearer to the ship, it's obvious it's not a toy - just shaped like one. About the size of four schoolbuses stacked two atop the other, it's a pointed ovoid, with rocketship fins at one end and a nosecone at the other. Both sets of features seem to be a different color every time you look at them, though they always match each other. Near the nosecone, a round window is set. Pressing your face against the glass would not show you the inside; it seems someone has pushed an old television set against the window, showing you only old, silent, black-and-white cartoons, grainy and shot with static. There is a [[hatch|Nodeship7771 Interior]] further down the body of the ship, about midway between the nosecone and fins, big enough for most beings to fit through.
[[(back)|Space]]
^ exit not in descThe inside of the ship is smooth and rounded, ovoid, with bright, smooth white walls, ceiling and floor all seeming to flow into each other. A bluish white glow with no discernable source suffuses the whole place in gentle light. There is no sign of the window seen from outside, or any exits, not even the door you came in by. A rounded chair protrudes a little way up one wall, egg-shaped like the room, with a padded seat and headrest, all of it pristinely white. Inset in the headrest is a round white button. It looks awfully tempting to try and push. Or maybe just relax in the chair for a while. After all, you're not going anywhere, are you?
[[back|Space]]
((not sure about other commands))A beautiful, sunny meadow, with verdant grasses and vibrant wildflowers rippling in the gentle breeze. Sun-warmed stone jut from the grass here and there for climbing or sitting on. A little stream runs between them and off through the verge, tinkling merrily as it flows over small pebbles in a variety of shapes and colors. To the [[north|Cave Opening]] you can see a jumble of rocks that look like they might hide a cave; to the [[northeast|Waterfall Pond]] a small river flows down from the hills; to the [[east|Fern Forest]], a wooden bridge crosses the river into a lush forest; to the [[southeast|River Run]], the river continues along its path; to the [[south|Lunar Lake]], the river empties into a sparkling lake. To the west is a tunnel leading back the way you came.
(('west' doesn't work as an exit, here))
[[back|OOC Chatroom]]A pile of stone slabs, brown and red and gray, glittering slightly in the warm sunlight, is surrounded by green grass and beautiful flowers. A few berry bushes cluster around an opening in the rocks, what appears to be a cave entrance. It's dark inside, but sparkles of light and a very faint chiming sound can be seen and heard. A little stream runs out of the cave mouth, trickling off into the meadow. It seems especially glittery close to the cave and if you were to peer closely you could see that at first it runs over, not regular pebbles, but crystals. You can head into the [[cave|Crystal Cavern]] or you can go [[back|Sunlit Meadow]] to the [[meadow|Sunlit Meadow]].At the place where the hills meet level ground, a large waterfall pours over the rocks to make the final fall into the pond that heads the river. Splashing and foaming, a small, bright rainbow adorns the curtain of water as it flows downward. The pond that greets it is clear and cool, with lily pads and many flowers and berry bushes ringing the edge. On one side there is a clearing in the long grass, where a circle of tiny mushrooms make a fairy ring. With the rainbow, the clear water, the flowers and the mushrooms, this does indeed look like the sort of place one might meet the fair folk - or a frog prince. Small rocks can be found in the grass for tossing into the pond. When you tire of watching the waterfall and dipping your toes, you can head [[back|Sunlit Meadow]] to the meadow, or follow the river [[south|River Run]].This enchanting forest, connected to the sunny meadow by a quaint wooden bridge, is shady and cool, with tall, thick trees arching their branches overhead to make a canopy that filters the sunlight down into dappled spots on the ground below. Beneath the trees, bushes, rocks, fallen logs, ferns, and mushrooms decorate the leafy forest floor. You can smell the rich green scent of the big old trees and curling ferns, and the cool waters of the river, and the fragrance of the berry bushes and little flowers, and the deep earthy smell of mushrooms and mulch. Moss seems to cover everything in a green carpet. Despite the denseness of the woods, it should be easy to find your way [[back|Sunlit Meadow]] out.A stretch of river, with sunny grass on the west bank and shady forest on the east. You stand on the west bank, in the long green grass studded with bright wildflowers. Some large sunwarmed stones sit here and there on the edge of the waterway, perfect for sitting on and sunning yourself after swimming, or perhaps fishing from. The far bank is too high to climb out of from here. You can see little fish swimming about under the surface, and birds swoop for insects above the current. Even the odd frog can be found crouching in the mud. You can head [[north|Waterfall Pond]] from here to the pond at the mouth of the river, or [[back|Sunlit Meadow]] to the meadow, or [[south|Lunar Lake]] to the lake. This beautiful lake seems to have a secret; no matter what time of day or night, the moon is always reflected on its surface, following its own mysterious pattern of phases, shining bright silver no matter the weather. Weeping willows trail their branches over the surface, and strange white blossoms bloom along the lake's edge. A beach of pearly white pebbles leans down to the water, with pale kelp floating under the surface and mother-of-pearl shells scattered on the shore. Everything seems sort of mystical near the rippling water, the air cool, mist rolling in morning and evening. A bench made of intricate curls of white wood stands on the beach, looking like it was grown rather than built. On a high spot near the shore, a pavilion made of fluttering blue, white, and silver gauzy fabric pulled over more of the same curling white wood is a pleasant place to rest, or perhaps perform some sacred rites. The lake is large and deep, and who knows what lives in such strange waters. You can always head [[north|River Run]] up the river, or [[back|Sunlit Meadow]] to the meadow, if you can pull yourself away from the spellbinding beauty of the lake.since apparently twine 2 doesn't let you freely form the plot grid and auto-fits it to the first passage
does that make senseTry moving [[ahead|Nothing and Nowhere 2]] to see more stuff. You walk carefully towards the light, stumbling over some rocks and stalagmites. As you round the corner in the corridor, you see the exit, and quickly make your way outside, blinking at the brighter light.
OOC Chatroom:
<<display 'OOC Chatroom'>>The inside of the cave is glorious and wonderful. Shafts of light beam down through panes of crystal grown over holes in the roof, creating skylights. The beams illuminate stunning displays of crystal formations in every shape, size, and color, covering the entire interior of the cave. A thin, high waterfall pours down from higher levels to make chiming sounds on the crystal as it splashes to the floor, trickling away in a stream that heads out the cave mouth. Everything is glittering, shining, bright and sparkling. The formations practically sing with beauty, dance with light. Truly an enchanting place. If, for some reason, you would like to leave, you can head [[out|Cave Opening]].: the 'in' command will randomly put players in the "nothing and nowhere" passage depending on their location
